Henretta takes over
Drosos’ key role.

Drosos departs P&G after a stunning 25-year career.
In a move that surprised some, P&G announced the relocation of its beauty and personal care management team to Singapore. CEO Bob McDonald said the decision looks to the future—where beauty shows its greatest opportunity for growth in years to come, especially with a booming skin care business in Asia. However, as a result, P&G says goodbye to Gina Drosos, who is retiring as group president, Skin Care, Cosmetics and Personal Care, rather than uproot her teenage children by moving to the Far East. Drosos has spent 25 years at P&G helping to architect its rise in the global beauty industry. She played a major role in growing leading brands including Olay, Secret, Cover Girl, Safeguard and Old Spice.

As Droso’s replacement, Deb Henretta, group president, P&G Asia and Specialty Channel, has been elected group president, Global Skin Care, Cosmetics and Personal Care. Henretta has been with P&G for more than a quarter century. Most recently, she has been credited with successfully growing Pantene, H&S and SKII in Asian markets.
